Some wonder whether it will ever fall off of its double-walled perch when the ground really starts rumbling one day.  Do not stand directly under the rock during an earthquake to test that theory.  No one looks good in a selfie with 34-tons on top of them. Also, do not sit on either wall that leads down to the rock or LACMA security will tell you to move off of it as it too is apparently part of the art.   Well, excuse me, you can take a nap on the two-thousand-year-old fallen columns at the Forum in Rome without nary a glance.  I’m just saying.
